Kindergarteners are now experts at checking out books from the Lower School library. They love to scan the barcodes and look at their accounts. We have been reading a variety of books from the classic (Caldecott Award-winning) The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, which we acted out, to this year's Newbery Award-winning Last Stop on Market Street by Matt De La Pena. The girls enjoyed Tales for Very Picky Eaters by Josh Schneider (winner of the Theodore Geisel Award). Ask your daughters about the growing oatmeal, or what James' father suggests he can do with soft bones.
Please continue to read with your daughters and to encourage them to share their library books with their pets, babysitters, siblings and YOU!

French fashion show fun
We have been having lots of fun in French class learning to talk about clothing. The girls put on a silly fashion show for their classmates the other day. Today, they became the commentators on a princess fashion show. Watch below to see what some of them had to say.

Winter Fun!
We have had a fun and busy start to the New Year! From celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with a morning of service, to studying author Jan Brett, to preparing for Groundhog Day, we have enjoyed every moment of 2016. The snow may have kept us out of school for a few days, but we are happy to be back and enjoyed telling stories of our snowy adventures. Enjoy some pictures below!
