We had a wonderful week learning about the history and the five Founders of
The Bryn Mawr School.
Each child was one of the five Founders.
We explored the campus and discovered the Founder's Bench where we found our names!

We learned that Miss Edith Hamilton was the first Headmistress
We found her portrait in the library and told her what we would like to learn.
We celebrated during math time making and eating a healthy Bryn Mawr daisy using different shapes.
MMMM we loved eating math.
During our Founder's Tea Party we learned why Mary Garrett wanted to start a girl's school.

We recorded with care drawings of the five Founders in our Story Books and labeled who they were.
