In language arts, we have continued our cross curricular unit of springtime and flowers, and based on student interest, we did an extensive unit on cherry trees. One particular student brought pictures in of her cherry tree blooming next to her house, which we hung next to our classroom cherry tree. We read a poem about cherry trees and then wrote our own poems!
We also had a great time celebrating the spring festivities at Bryn Mawr. We watched the 3rd grade practice for their Maypole dance and performed our spring concert earlier today! We can't wait for the Bryn Mawr Bazaar tomorrow!
