From the Library

Kindergarteners are now experts at checking out books from the Lower School library. They love to scan the barcodes and look at their accounts. We have been reading a variety of books from the classic (Caldecott Award-winning) The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, which we acted out, to this year's Newbery Award-winning Last Stop on Market Street by Matt De La Pena. The girls enjoyed  Tales for Very Picky Eaters by Josh Schneider (winner of the Theodore Geisel Award). Ask your daughters about the growing oatmeal, or what James' father suggests he can do with soft bones.

Please continue to read with your daughters and to encourage them to share their library books with their pets, babysitters, siblings and YOU!
