December

December is the Time of Joy,
Traditions and Giving to others !

We enjoyed families visiting our classroom telling the story of their religious traditions.

We are certainly young Bryn Mawr girls who are learning to respect others.
Practicing this Lower School value of RESPECT is important to us.

The Muslim festival of Eid when families show gratitude,                                                                                   help the poor and find ways to help others.

Celebrating Hanukkah, learning the special story and having a delicious dreidel snack!

DIWALI CELEBRATION
We had fun making pictures with colored sand and learning the story of Diwali.
This is a special tradition in India during their celebration.
If you are lucky you could see a sand picture in Baltimore.

We were excited to share our Gingerbread Houses with Sarah's Hope's Shelter.
We hope the houses will make them happy and know people care.

POLAR EXPRESS
After our trip to the BSO for the Polar Express concert,
we had such fun using our imagination to take our own train ride
with cookies and hot chocolate wearing our PJs!

AT THE END OF THE RIDE WE EACH WERE GIVEN
A MAGIC BELL TO HELP KEEP OUR IMAGINATION FOREVER!

WITH EACH TRADITION AND RELIGION WE LEARNED THERE IS
A STORY ABOUT BLESSINGS, LOVE AND BEING GRATEFUL.

WE ARE DEEPLY GRATEFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITY
AND PRIVILEGE TO TEACH YOUR WONDERFUL, DEAR GIRLS.

WE HOPE YOU HAVE A WINTER BREAK FILLED WITH LOVE AND FAMILY!
FONDLY,  CAROL AND KATI
